Black Widow is out July 9 on Disney+ with Premier Access, but not on Disney+ Hotstar, where it’s not expected before October 8. That’s thanks to India’s video-on-demand failures, Disney’s insistence on cinemas-first even at the height of COVID-19, and its unwillingness to take bold bets like HBO Max.
